Cowgirl Soccer July Update: Summer Grinds, Huge Fundraisers & World Cup Celebrations!
Happy July, Cowgirl Nation!
We are officially in the home stretch before our fall season kicks off in August. July is where the magic happens—where we build our team chemistry, condition our bodies, and lock in the resources we need to look and play like pros.
We have a massive month ahead with critical volunteer opportunities, training schedules, and community events. Grab your calendar and dive into all the updates you need to know for July 2026!
🏋️ 1. July Summer Training Schedule
Our summer conditioning is officially in full swing. To make sure we are in peak condition for our season opener next month, we are combining forces across sports to build true athletic durability.
When: Monday – Thursday | 8:30 AM – 10:00/10:30 AM
Where: Meet in the Weight Room, finish out on the soccer fields.
The Blueprint: We are utilizing our 2026/27 Work Hard. Be Nice. Believe Cowgirl Athletics Journals alongside the CC Track 400M Summer Packet.
The Healthy Knee Initiative (Open to ALL Cowgirls!)
Coach Mary has teamed up with longtime friends The Mobility Duo—renowned physical therapy and athletic mobility specialists who focus on sustainable, functional movement for athletes. Together, they have built a custom program plan around the Mobility Duo’s Healthy Knee Guide.
Knee injuries (especially during winter sports) have been at an all-time high over the last couple of years. This program is specifically engineered to build protective, healthy knee joints alongside strong muscle groups. We strongly encourage Cowgirls from any and all sports to join us. Let’s work as One Team across our athletic department to stay healthy and injury-free this year!
🏃♀️ Bonus Track Training: CCHS Track & Field is also offering morning training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15 AM – 8:30 AM at the track.
🧹 2. Crooked River Roundup Race Clean-Up (Our $4,000 Fundraiser!)
Dates: July 16th – July 19th
Time: 7:00 AM sharp
Action Item:PLEASE RSVP "I'm in" or "Can't Go" ASAP!
This is our absolute biggest fundraising opportunity of the year. The Crooked River Roundup association is paying us $4,000 to clean up after both the Rodeo and the Races. While our athlete turnout for the Rodeo portion wasn't ideal, the girls who did show up did an absolutely spectacular job. A massive Special Thanks to Coach Brooks and Ruby Ruiz for stepping up big time!
Now, we need all hands on deck—parents and athletes—for the Races clean-up so we make a phenomenal impression and secure our invitation back for future years.
Middle Schoolers can absolutely help!
Truck & Trailer Needed: If any parent can provide a truck and utility trailer for those mornings, please contact us immediately.
The Perk: All funds collected from cans and bottles during the clean-up go directly toward buying custom gear and swag for the girls who help!
Note: If we do not have enough soccer athletes RSVPed to cover the workload, we will be forced to invite another sport to split the work and the $4,000 fund.
🍿 3. World Cup Championship Watch Party!
Let’s get together, celebrate the beautiful game, and welcome the future of our program!
When: Sunday, July 19th (Doors open at 11:00 AM, Match kickoff at 12:00 PM)
